About MOPS

What is MOPS?

MOPS stands for Mothers Of PreSchoolers...it's a program for moms with children ages birth through pre-school.  MOPS International exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.  MOPS exists for every mom—urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at home and working moms, teen, single and married moms—moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms
they can be!

At MOPS, you will be:
  • Encouraged: inspired with hope and courage
  • Equipped: supplied with resources
  • Developed: to bring out every potential as a woman, mother and leader

What can I expect?

MOPS meetings are run by moms, for moms.  Our meetings usually have time to meet up and chat over a yummy brunch, an encouraging and practical speaker, small group time for discussion, and crafts and activities intended to deepen friendships and develop spiritual growth.

MOPS offers a refreshing break from child care responsibilities to get together with other ladies over devotionals, craft projects, refreshments and conversation while the kids are engaged in a stimulating and fun program of their own, MOPPETS.

Join us on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month, from September through May
9:30 to 11:45 am
at Valley View Christian Church in Littleton!

What is MOPPETS?

MOPPETS is our children's program.  While moms are enjoying time together, our children are cared for in safe, age-appropriate classes.  They are lovingly entertained with games, stories, crafts and a snack.

Cost and Membership Benefits
MOPS International's annual registration fee is $23.95.  In addition to the group experience, moms who are registered with MOPS International will receive: MomSense magazine subscription, weekly Mom-E-Mail, a MOPS reusable shopping bag, MOPS iron-on appliques and MOPS stickers featuring Veggie Tales.

An additional semester fee of $51.05 (in September) and $75 (in January) will be paid at the first meeting of the semester.  This goes to cover the cost of childcare, crafts and hospitality expenses.

NOTE:  Since our very first meeting will be January 9, 2012, the semester fee of $51.05 will be applied, rather than $75.

If you are new to MOPS and would like to see what we are all about,
your first meeting is FREE!

Is MOPS for me?

MOPS is a support group for moms with children ages birth through six.  If you are pregnant or in the process of adopting, you are welcome too!  You do not have to be a "church-goer" or from a specific denomination to join us.  MOPS is a place where moms, from all walks of life, can come to be encouraged and supported by other moms who are in the very same season of life ... and best of all to make life-long friends!
